Watch television commercials and listen to the VO announcers. Resist the urge to hit that fast forward button on the Tivo. :) Television commercials are another very lucrative area of voice overs. Pay attention to the commercials that your voice would be right for. If you're a woman, chances are you won't be advertising monster truck tires, or if you're a man, you most likely won't be selling feminine products. But, listen anyway. You can still learn something from the already working voice actors and actresses that are cashing huge checks while talking about beer or bleach.
